After a long period of doing nothing in the hobby I've returned learning more in the past few months than I have in the past 20 years.

My mobile dual band rig is a Kenwood TM-g707a and a Diamond NRH770 antenna along with a UV-5r clone dedicated to APRSdroid. I also have a SHARI clone aquired from Amazon which is configured on a Raspberry Pi 3b using the hamvoip.org software which I use with a mobile hotspot to connect to Allstar nodes.

I was able to upgrade my license from Tech to General on April 2022 and look forward to exploring new modes and RF spectrum.

June 2022 I was able to purchase a used FT-991a and have been able to operate in digital and weak signals protocols such as WSPR, FT4, FT8, JS8call and SSTV. I paired this with my existing VHF/UHF antennas and added an MFJ-2286 6M~40M multiband vertical portable antenna using the 1979 17' telescopic stainless steel whip. In the future Soon I will be adding a Chamelon emcomm III wire antenna in order to work 60M~160M bands.
